This recipe starts off strangely for a pasta recipe: Heat the oven to 200 degrees and place a large serving bowl in the oven. This warm bowl is the ATK secret to this recipe.
You cook the pasta (I used angel hair, since it’s what I had and I really dislike spaghetti) and crisp the chopped bacon and then adding white wine to the bacon and reducing. On the side you mix eggs and Parmesan and Pecorino Romano cheese. The you throw it all together in the heated bowl and toss to coat the pasta with the egg and cheese before it scrambles.
This dish turned out really yummy. Justin raved, wondering why he’s never had pasta with BACON before. We ate it two nights in a row, happily. I really don’t know what else to say. It was fairly easy and yummy. I know I’ll make it again.
